Colton’s Eczema Battle #eczema

Colton is 4 months old and has horrible eczema. Well, just allergies altogether. He’s exclusively breastfed, so the doctor told me to watch what I eat and see if the rash goes away, after eliminating certain foods. (We were also prescribed an allergy medication, which made Colt very irritable with no real results, so I stopped using it.)So far I’ve eliminated tomatoes and anything tomato based, peanut butter, all dairy, and all gluten. Needless to say, I’m miserable! But, Colton’s rash has gotten better. But it’s not gone! We are all a little frustrated to say the least. Poor Colt isn’t sleeping more than 2 hours at a time. He wakes up scratching and crying. The only way to get him to calm down is to nurse him. We are all so exhausted. And still don’t have answers. We’ve been at it for about a month now, with very little progress. Our next step is to see a chiropractor about some natural means of healing and to see exactly what I’m eating that’s triggering his rash. If nothing else, I’ll switch to formula…. which can be hard as well because if I don’t know what he’s allergic to, I will have to try different ones to see what works for him. Please pray for us as we continue to embark on this long journey. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
